95.9 started their Christmas music two weeks before Thanksgiving, in the +12 numbers Mixx-FM got closer to the ratings King HI-99, WBOW-FM even saw larger numbers. Could the departure of loyal listers who fled when the Christmas music started have an effect on the numbers as we now see? You thoughts?

Did Christmas Music on WWSY in Terre Haute effect the ratings?

Of course it did. Everyone that I know that listens to that station does so for the music. If you take away the only reason to listen, why would anyone continue? I personally flipped to either WAXI or Mix-FM. It was way too early to switch to Christmas. I think they've learned their lesson, though. I doubt we hear any Christmas music from the Valley until well into December this year.
The move to third street came after the flip to mix-fm. Rumors were floating around that they were going to put studios in the honey creek mall just before they moved to their current location.
