Did I hear a terrible edit of U2's "New Years Day" on Rock 100.5?

At 12:50 pm today, I could swear that 100.5 played a clunky edit of "New Years Day" that seemed to have little bits and pieces snipped out just to reduce its running time (it was definitely cut off mid-coda). Has anyone else heard anything similar? I'm not talking about editing for language; this was (if I heard right) editing for $$$.

I hope they're not turning the place into one of those stations.
 
I'd just like to say I'm deeply disappointed in the 100.5 playlist after showing so much early promise. Weak sauce.

BTW, the Wang Chung Fan Club is meeting at the Central City Tavern on Peacthree this Tuesday at 7pm.
