While I was out driving around in that mess I never heard a peep about it on the radio. Seems like 20 inches might be enough to make the ground around one of the Non-com or AM towers unstable enough to fall over. Or it could just flood out a transmitter shack or even cause long term power outages.
I haven't heard anything about radio or tv stations taking any damage and I'm not noticing anything missing from the dial, but it certainly was a situation that could have caused some damage... especially to one of those AM towers in a swamp somewhere.
Oh yeah, did I mention that I never heard a peep about bridges collapsing or sinkholes washing out roads or 5 feet of water over major roadways on the radio this weekend. Thanks guys! Keep up the good work!
