Viacom is just greedy in my opinion. I don't think I'll even watch their channels even if they come back. In times like these they don't need to be asking for more money. I'll half to check out the Encore channels. I hadn't had much time watching TV here lately.
And then today DirecTV announced that suddenly they'd launch Disney Junior tomorrow on 289. For the longest time they held out because it was a channel 'our viewers aren't interested in'.
Suddenly with Nick Jr. on, the interest for Disney Junior shoots right up :! That is the oddest coincidence ever, don't you think?

Between the MTV channels, VH1, Nickelodeon, I don't think viewers are missing much, not to mention all of the infomercials which are show ad nauseum after hours.
As a Dish Network customer, I remember when they had that same tiff with Viacom in 2003 (when WWE Raw was on Spike), only that it was resolved two or three days later.
But I don't mind if we're deprived of the upcoming season of Breaking Bad on AMC, which is off Dish for now.
