Disco Saturday Night on KISQ-98.1 KISS FM

I was scanning the dial last night and come upon this show. I might be wrong, but when they were K-Big 98.1 KBGG, didn't they also have a Saturday Night Disco Show similar to Disco Saturday Night? I think it was called "Saturday Night Groove Thang". I don't know who hosted it but I recall that it was a Disco Music show.

I remember K-BIG having a Disco Night. Do not know who hosted it.

Mady McKoen hosted it for over a year. Later, Brett Larson hosted it. When Mady hosted it, it had over a 10 share 25-54, and was the #1 show on Saturday night in the SF ARB.

I think CC, instead of starting the band, should've moved KISS to 103.7 and brought back K-Big

When they were 80's music for 5 minutes, K101 did have a disco show Saturday night. They also ran Chris Edwards' Time Machine on Sunday nights.

K-BIG's Sat nite disco party was originally hosted by Darien O'Toole, who was quickly promoted to the morning show as a result.

and yes, K-101 did a Saturday disco show after K-BIG changed formats. Lasted a couple of years, as I recall.

Do you mean Don Saint Jooh, or...uh...Don Sainte Johnn? I don't recall that he was ever on 98.1, but he was on 98.9/KSOL, which was the "Classic Soul" station before Kiss-FM.

Don Sainte-Johnn was on Big 98.1, but never KISQ. He was on K101 for a while after Big. They blew out the entire air staff when they killed Big 98.1 and switched to KISS.
