Disney to Leave Fox Studio Lot, Relocate Teams to Burbank

The goal is to create a creative hub for Disney's TV arm in Burbank so production teams can work more closely together. The company expects the move to be finished by the end of the year.

Note this does not take into effect until the end of 2025. But while this is happening Disney is moving their movies and shows currently on the Fox Studio lot more of their Los Angeles area operations to Burbank. Also Fox Inc the owners of Fox Sports, Fox News, Tubi and KTTV Fox Los Angeles is in the process of putting more offices on the Fox Studio Lot with regulatory approval.

I can only guess that Fox realized they actually "need" production facilities and to make a lot more of their own programs to remain a viable network (OTA or streaming). They were smart to hold onto the land.

Everytime I hear about a show Fox owns directly the emphasis is mainly directed at Fox News New York offices. It will be interesting to see how many shows that are currently in Fox News New York offices would move to Century City on the Fox Lot mainly to emphasize on shows made for Fox Nation and Tubi apps.
