Disney will rename the Fox Branded channels (Outside the USA) to Star Network

This will be in effect in 2021. Also this is all about how Disney has to remove the Fox Name due to the Murdoch's using Fox for their owned outlets.

Also this is part of a plan to launch Hulu and Disney+ outside the USA the star label under Disney.

Disney's Fox Star Studios in India face an uncertain future as seen in the release. But then its related to Disney having to remove the Fox Name from their properties as a result with the deal with the Murdochs.

In some countries Fox Sports have either shut down or have been rebranded as ESPN International by Disney due to the Fox Trademark owned by the Murdoch's.

Here are a few updates Disney shuts down Fox and Disney Junior in Germany and basically everywhere outside the USA as part of the push to boost attention to their streaming outlets such as Star+ or Disney +. Part of this is because Fox Inc. is owned by the Murdochs and Disney had to remove the Fox name as part of the deal in 2019. Also boost streaming subscriptions are a factor here. Note Star+ is the international equivalent of Hulu for outside the USA.

Disney would shut down the international channels to ensure it could put its Disney+ streaming service at the forefront of its new approach.
