This isn't an issue of venting on my part. It's a matter of programming...pure and simple! There are jocks who would rather entertain themselves FIRST!

But what seems to be happening is that some on-air personalities....and I use that term VERY LOOSELY...think "shock humor" is funny? So they beat the joke or point their trying to make to the ground and take the station down with them!

And these jocks use "shock humor" because that's what they were brought up on when they listened to the radio. Then they get a radio gig and play the game of "Follow the Follower" because they believe that's the way to do radio...because everyone else is doing it.

There once was a girl from Winooski. ::)
 
The comment does not fit with that morning show's plan (I'm guessing... I don't work there)

He broke his own rules.

He did not think.

He allowed himself to be Jon from Jon & Lana on 95 Triple X instead of what he is supposed to be which is Jon Brooks, your loveable, friendly oldies host on KOL.
 
Apparently it's not KOL with Rod to make comments about chicks from Winooski although I do agree that Milton would have been the better choice I don't think that Jon was reliving Jon and Lana because he wasn't that funny back in 1992. (holy crap that was 16 years ago)
