Back in the '80s, there used to be a series of commercial wraparounds called "Stories of Christmas." They were about one minute long and opened with a children's chorus singing "la la la la la..." The narrator was the same on all of them, and each story featured a different Christmas legend or tradition, such as the origin of the Christmas card, the world's largest Christmas pie, or Martin Luther and the first Christmas tree.
There's a website for Creative Marketing & Communications, but it appears the original company was sold in 1994 and the version available now is not the same one. I would love to buy a copy of the old version with the children's chorus.
Does anyone remember this series? I heard it on various stations around the country, including WPEN in Philadelphia, WJR in Detroit, and a station in Burlington VT.
