And didn't "Z93" (WGTZ Eaton) change formats after Main Line took over?

Radio One needs to know what to do with WERE/1490 first. With a mishmash schedule containing a newly established local morning show, a brokered health hour at 9, progressive host Warren Ballentine in the late morning, then ultra-con "Point of View" and USA Radio Network the REST of the day... who'd want to listen to a turd like 1490 on the radio right now, let alone online?

Nathan, shortly after I posted about that change...there was a Julie Washington mention of it in the PD.
It sounds like the USA Radio stuff ("Point of View", etc.) is basically filling its historic purpose on WERE - keeping the needles moving when time isn't sold. With the split of the Radio One "Syndication One" stuff - Sharpton to 1300 and Ballentine still on 1490, with the "Stews" gone, it sounds like WERE is mostly reverted to its role as a brokered station.
And, if someone bought the time, "Point of View" would be gone...
