Since Randy Michaels & his Oak Hill Capital Partners bought the New York Times station group last year, he may be interested in buying some of the 9 Fox owned & operated stations, because he had worked at Jacor & Clear Channel, which owned Fox stations in Minneapolis, Tulsa, Little Rock, & Wichita. He's also a good fan of Rupert Murdoch, because Fox & Clear Channel had been talking about a merger for many years. I know Fox News Channel is his favorite channel because he supports the President & one of his old bosses, Lowry Mays also supports him because he was one of the campaign donors that brought Bush to win the presidency. One of the stations that Oak Hill may not buy is WHBQ because WREG is also owned by Oak Hill. Most likely Oak Hill will buy KTVI, KSTU, WGHP, & WBRC, because Michaels' group owns TV stations in the South & the Midwest. If Randy Michaels can't do it, maybe John Snow & Cerberus Capital Management will. He was worked as a treasury secretary for the President, & also a supporter of Rupert Murdoch & Fox News. He brought 2 CBS affiliates & 3 CW affiliates last year from Viacom, & he may be planning to buy more, including some of the Fox stations I just mentioned. But the one station that he won't buy is KSTU Fox 13 in Salt Lake City, because Cerberus owns KUTV there. Most likely Cerberus will buy WJW, KDVR, WITI, WDAF & WHBQ. There's also other groups like Cox, Meredith, Journal Broadcast Group, LIN Television (maybe for sale), & Young Broadcasting (doesn't own any Fox stations) that may be interested in them, too Or maybe Cerberus & Oak Hill won't but them at all, but these are the two best investment groups that may buy the Fox stations. I hope that's useful to you.
