When I was a kid in the 90's, it felt like nobody listened to country music. I can remember KMPS 94.1 being the only game in Seattle if you wanted to hear country music (which I did listen to back then).
Today it seems like the country format is expanding on a rather large scale. It appears that KANY 93.7 is breaking into the puget sound market by moving to south mountain, as well as KGY-FM down in Olympia. My question is, how many more of these stations do you think are going to pop up?
One thing is for sure, pretty much every small market today (such as Aberdeen) have multiple country music stations.
