I'm 99% certain that he did. I was a grade school kid in the mid and late 50s, and my mom had WJJD on quite a bit in the house. I remember hearing him, Del Clark, along with the others.

Yeah, but what about Spider Harris? I think that's who hosted the late night blues on WLAC that I'd catch at a teenager, loud and strong in northern Ohio in the early 1970s.
IIRC WLAC was called "News and Blues" in the late 1960's and early 1970's, They had a mostly (if not all) news I couldn't stand during the day. Then around 1971 or 1972 they dropped the news and went top 40 / semi AC. They started expanding the top 40 hours but still had R & B really late night. I am not sure when Spider started with the station but IIRC he was the last night time jock while they were top 40 in the 1980's. now 1510 is talk.
Hav WJJD surveys 1957-1962 with pictures of disc jockeys. I believe Stan Dale & Del Clark were weekend fill ins or evenings during extended hours during summer months. Stan Major was a vet of WIRL in Peoria and was not at WJJD long.
