No I was talking about the one from Lexington - CD 106.3 to get from Louisville.
icycool, what radiorob is trying to say is that there is another station broadcasting on 106.3 from Hodgenville, which would cause some interference with CD 1063 in Lexington and possibly other stations on 106.3 nearby if you were listening from Louisville. And plus, CD 1063 isnt that strong of a station anyway. I'd say it wouldn't make it into Shelbyville.
CD 106.3 has a decent signal with their antenna atop the vertical blue ice cube tray downtown. The former site, and I believe their backup site, is still atop the old WJMM tower just across the Woodford County line. The downtown site helps the metro even compared to the Woodford site, but then again downtown multipath of the current site is the pain in the rear factor.
So far, unless I missed it, there has been no discussion of the AM band. During the day, WVLK has a good signal in the "ville", as long as you're away from part 15 monsters. WLAP doesn't exist past Bluegrass Airport due to a very deep null; the same applies to 1580 and its highly directional pattern. WLXG is weak but possible going into Louisville.
Meanwhile WHAS is solid in Lexington with 790 as a close second. For those too young to remember when 790 was Top 40 as WAKY it used to show up strong in the Lexington ratings until the rise of FM, occasionally number one in some dayparts. Of course the signal disappears at night due to pattern change. Other Louisville signals in Lex include WFIA and 1080 but not as strong as WHAS and 790.

Shelbyville is generally the end of the line for CD 106.3 based on my experience, and sometimes it doesn't make it past Waddy. The Hodgenville 106.3 usually doesn't make it east of Simpsonville.

I used to always lose CD 106.3 about half way between The Ville and Lex, about 40 miles from both cities, but that was when CD 106.3 was at the old TX site, I would guess they are slightly better now, but still just a little Class A I think.
I'd say Hot 102 is about the same in terms of coverage area. It does a lot better on the interstate than on low-lying country roads.
