Hello, I'd just like to know if anyone misses the Christmas music format on the radio. I kinda do and I woke up this morning with "My Grown Up Christmas List" by Amy Grant in my head. You can elaborate if you want.

Honestly... I actually do a little bit. What it really comes down to is I had a station around Christmastime that I could put on and leave on and never take it off (Although I did tend to cringe at some of that repetition...). Now, when my radio is on, it is tuned to a mix of stations, mainly because the one format that I enjoy is no longer available in my market. That would be the only reason I really miss the Christmas music format.

In reality, if Christmas music were on all the time on some stations, then it just wouldn't be special around Christmastime, then would it? That warm feeling that one gets around the holidays, while it would certainly be nice, will not last beyond December for most, and neither will the music. I guess it's for the best.

nope, not al all...but if you're lucky, the way christmas music stations have been booming as of the last few years, a station will fill to all christmas around labor day or so ;D ;D ;D
