Does Howie Carr autograph crap sell for anything but a bag of peanuts

I have alot of old Howie Carr autograph stuff hanging around like the HOWIE CARR FOR GOVERNOR" sign. Does that have any value or anything else?

My advice is to look for rare James Brown records.

When Howie refuses to come down for breakfast you'll still have to pay to have the stuff hauled away.

The funny thing is that Howie Carr is an instant cut out! five bucks for his book! Oh, can't wait for the paperback edition - maybe a secret bonus chapter with the Bulger's involvement with BCN's former program director. That'll sell another 3 books...

interestingly, the Unnatural Axe 7" that Joe put out goes for a lot of money. Here's a current eBay auction and it still has four days to go. Up to $130 already. It'll go for a lot more, too.

Not that this is the case, but I've heard tell of SOME PEOPLE bidding on their own stuff on ebay to drive the price up and trying to create interest in said stuff (not that that is the case here, mind you) ;D Just something I've heard SOME PEOPLE do.

Seeing that the seller is in Stow Mass the AXE e.p. could be someone's private collection, and knowing that an individual offered me $200.00 for one of my last 2 copies over ten years ago, $150.00 is a great price.
When a DJ pays YOU for a record years after it came out, well, it is a nice feeling.

Too bad that Infidel is saying that person from Stow might be less than honorable. It is pretty easy for
eBay to see who is manipulating the "stock market" so to speak. Amazing that just because I produced the
record - evidence of the value of my catalog - Infidel has to make a crack about a dealer from Stow.

eBay is a great place for an independent label; we at Varulven usually give out a bonus CD with every purchase AND get them in the mail within 3 days, usually the day it is sold. The bands Squiddly Diddly and Slow Children (which was produced by Mr. Curt) gave us many CDs and vinyl for just that purpose. There are thousands of very reputable dealers on eBay and we do business with many of them.

Thanks, Sonic Al, for the evidence that - indeed - Varulven Records are worth a LOT more than the yellowing pages of Howie Carr's cut and paste book allegedly of his old Herald columns.

ever since the "Killed By Death" bootlegs of early punk came out in the 90s, the original pressings of those records have become desirable and, with eBay, the prices have skyrocketed. What's funny is I got that 7" out of a mailorder catalog around '89 or '90... $4. Pretty good investment, I'd say ;D

I won't, Lucy, but we all know that Willie "Loco" Alexander, Jonathan Richman and Maureen Tucker have all sold more records INDIVIDUALLY than Howie Carr has sold books and they - along with Lady Carolyn fronting my band, are on the 45 RPM
