Lena Horne - The beauty of her voice was overshadowed only by her inner and outward beauty. As Gerogia Brown in Cabin In the Sky the "Bronze Venus" was magnificent. She oooozed Class and Stardom.....1917-2010

Don't know why there's no sun up in the sky
Stormy weather since my man and I ain't together
Keeps raining all the time, the time
Life is bare, gloom and misery everywhere
Stormy weather, just can't get my poor self together
It's raining all the time, the time

MUSIC is SO wonderful.

It was a crappy, rainy early morning, and I was the morning dj at WRTH, St. Louis, circa 1990. ABC News at the top of the hour, but I had a 3 minute hole just befire the news and the id.

MMMMMMMMMMMM....Lena fit right in there, and I was done, so I walked into the hallway near the elevator, and looked out the window, to the rainy day, with the droplets hitting the windowsill.

Ut's simple, but I'll never forget that.

Just like hearing "St. Louis Blues March" by Glenn Miller - the theme music of the Blues Hockey game, on the radio. Boy, thats great!
