Doug Goudie part of iHeart Albany layoffs

iHeart also canned Joe Pags last week, which I found surprising, as I always thought he had great ratings.

Maybe Goudie can join the Howie Carr Radio Network as a 9-12 host.

Interesting...I am in the Albany market these days and Since RadioDiscussions cancelled the Albany Radio Board this is how I found out about this...They also blew out the morning show on their Classic Hits station WTRY as well...

Yet another victim of the latest IHeart mass firings —what the soul-less Bob Pitman calls a “modernization journey”. He actually says this. People are so last century.

Sad to hear this, VB is an excellent talent.WFXT hasn’t been the same since the era Doug was an important part of.

Pags was on last night on Talk 1200.
Coming out of the 6:30 news during the Pags show, Talk 1200 was carrying Jesse Kelly for a couple of minutes, but then it switched back to Pags in mid sentence.
I only listened for a while, but there seemed to be quite a few audio glitches.
Thought Pag's national syndicated show was intact and it was only his local show in San Antonio that was canned?
That's what the link says.
