I remember Dr Lynn Weiss on KLIF, a QUALIFIED counselor with a LOCAL program. What a brilliant idea!

She was fired, however.

I rememeber that show, that was during the Talkradio 1190 days. Dr. Weiss was pleasant to listen to.

I remember a woman caller to Dr Weiss...her 19 year old son and her husband were having an affair....LOOOOOONG pause...and Dr. Weiss told the caller to call her office and set up a family counseling session...The caller said "I don't think they will come...because they both LIKE it."

Another LOOOOONG pause, then Dr Weiss says "Let's go to commercial"

I still wonder if that was legit or a "crank yankers" call.

Thanks for the tip, Pinto. I have noticed that playing Dr. Laura will also rid your house of rodents and insects. it appears that it is toxic and nauseous. They don't care for it. Perhaps we are not that different in that respect.

Have any of you board oped her show? Oh my god I used to have to drink a soda to keep myself awake to board op it and we carried her during the day!!!!!! (First 9AM-Noon later live 3PM-6PM Eastern).
