Drew Sandsor's back at KFBK/Enid and Christine talk nice about each other

In today's (1/17/06) Sacramento Bee... Sam McMannis reports that KFBK is/has hired "Drew Sandsor, formerly from San Francisco, as news director."

http://www.sacticket.com/tv_radio/story/14083785p-14914161c.html

Guess nobody at KFBK told Sam that Drew's a KFBK alum coming home. He was the managing editor during the late part of the last century.

From a google search, looks like Drew's been there since October, as job openings that turned up seem to show an October date.

In a newsy column that also reports two other hires to fill out the KFBK/KSTE news staff, he expands on Christine Craft's (coopersmom) recent post noting that she'll have competition from her friend, Enid Goldstein.

Goldstein and Craft say nice things about each other in the article. Sam says that Enid will "begin spouting dogma" at the end of the month.

He also says that "local foaming-at-the-mouth conservative talkers Mark Williams and Eric Hogue would never talk that nicely about each other."

Oh, and Sam reports that the other Sam... (Shane) will appear on KOVR when the new set does. "Expect Shane either the last week of January or early February," along with Shane's yet-to-be-named anchor, McMannis writes.

That is correct. I think he may have even been hired in September. They must have been really hard up for some news.

Chritine Craft is being hired to fill out the KFBK/KSTE news staff?<P ID="signature">______________
If you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything...</P>

Naw... but that might be an interesting combination, eh?<g>

It would have been more clear to write it as two sentences.

In his newsy column, McMannis reports two other hires to fill out the KFBK/KSTE news staff. He expands on K-whatever Christine Craft's...

And speaking of Enid's new station, what's the status on KCTC, "West Sacramento?" *(change subject line if replying to this)
