DTV signals as of 12:10am June 13th

WABC and WPIX have very weak signals. others like WNBC and WCBS 90DBU! have a very good signal here from old Greenwich ct.
any thoughts why WABC and WPIX 19/20 DBU at most are not coming in at all?

Yup, your receive antenna is doing a much better job with UHF (WNBC 28, WCBS 33) than it is with VHF (WABC 7 WPIX 11).
You need a DUAL BAND antenna , with a good Dual Band amplifier.

Necrat:
I noticed that WABC and WPIX are only allowed to transmit 7-15 KW of power compared to their analog signals of about 50... same with WTNH. could the reason I get them also because the VHF signals are a lot less powerful. and why are they a lot less powerful then say like WNYW transmitting almost 1000! KW? WYNW the signal is so clear that its almost like I don;t need an antenna 30 miles away from their signal.

I don't know if this is true or not, but I thought I read somewhere that it takes less power to transmit a digital signal than an analog signal for an equivalent coverage area.
