I do have a question for you Gregg.

What do you think of the funky house/"retro" disco revolution going on....whereas they are taking the classics and giving it a 21st century uptempo flavor?

Well it's no secret that Disco has actually made a big comeback in the last couple years.

I like many of the remakes, but get the most out of SNIPS from older tunes that are remixed
and turned into something new. BUT, this "fad" where they take Doobie Brothers and Steely
Dan pop classics and try to mold them into Dance (something that they are not) makes me
wanna to gag.

I wouldn't play Doobie, Steely or anything in that mode if samples were done. I usually stick to the "branded" disco tracks.

Here is what I would suspect is the club mix, recently put on YouTube.
It has quite a build-up......I think I would enter at the 2 minute mark.
The radio mix is probably tighter/better.

Now I showed you mine, let me see yours: seriously, I would like to see others
put their TOP 10 lists on my other post. I and OTHERS at RADIO-INFO even those at
Dance friendly stations (who probably frequent this board), club DJs and just
regular Dance Heads are interested in knowing what your stations, web streaming sites,
clubs and electronic media are currently playing. We have nothing to lose and only positive
results will happen.

BOOOOO.....There's plenty of Great House Tracks that sample Classic Rock
