Duggar family to make special announcement Thursday on Today Show

For those who care (I don't), according to the Breaking News ticker on TLC, the Duggars will be making a special announcement tomorrow (6/16) on NBC's "Today" show.

Let me guess -- this fall on TLC: "20 Kids and Counting"?
 
Would TLC run a ticker referring to an announcement of a show's cancellation? Would any channel? If a show was being cancelled, either by TLC or the Duggars, I don't think they would go through the trouble of running a ticker for viewers to tune in to the Today show, just for the cancellation announcement.

Knowing the Duggars' demeanor, I think I know the answer, and cancellation is not it.
