You could tell it was somewhat intentional because you could see on the top right of the screen "New Line Cinema" getting credit. Perhaps they intended to run a clip from a different New Line movie?

(Note that CNN and New Line Cinema are both owned by Time Warner.)

Edit: Apparently, somebody thought it was a good idea to run the clip right before a medical segment about - wait for it - ulcerative colitis... an inflammatory bowel disease.
