DX Alert for those awake tonight (10-16-2022). AM 1360 KPXQ Glendale, Arizona (the former legendary KRUX radio station), appears to be broadcasting at 50,000 watts non-directional tonight. KPXQ is coming in loud and clear here in Carlsbad, California with no sign of the semi-local KLSD AM 1360 from San Diego. The format is religious Christian radio and the station is owned by Salem. Reports of reception in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Santa Ana, California, Las Vegas, Nevada and Norway per Facebook. Might be a good chance for those back East (and in Alaska) to snag an Arizona station!
