I have 100.7 WZXL Wildwood, booming in like a local tonight here in Roxborough. I carried it home from work in S.W. Philly with just a little "picket fencing" Have a great day/ night!! Is anybody else getting anything worthwhile sharing? Jim Durkin.

picked up 98Rock (WXTB) from Tampa loud and clear this afternoon. They were giving a traffic report when I tuned in, I wondered why I never heard of these roads.

Now THAT is quite a pull! Are you sure it was the one from Tampa and not Baltimore?

I'm hearing Howard Stern! From SPACE!!!!

Not your bag, eh? I understand...

So is boring FM crap less boring from far away?

Because its interesting when the atmosphere reminds you who's boss. Natural phenomena can be fascinating, whether you understand how it works or not.

On the other hand, listening to Howard Stern - be it from space, from NY or from LA (pretty the same thing nowadays) - has been boring since about 2002. And, its no more real or natural than the breasts that are discussed in each and every show.

Tuesday night the Hampton Roads stations were in crystal clear in Wilmington DE. That was interesting because almost all them share frequencies with Philly stations. I was hearing Aerosmith on 106.9 and hip-hop on 102.9 which was a bit scary.

Here in greater Hartford, Aerosmith on 106.9 is normal. That's home to WCCC-FM Hartford (Active Rock). Hip-hop on 102.9? Yikes! For me, it's WDRC-FM Hartford (Classic Hits)[Oldies?]

It is, indeed. But unless there is something there imbued in the waves that makes the listening interesting, who cares? We're not talking about picking up another country's signal, but crap domestic ones. They all sound the same: Lame.

Boring? Hardly.

But I suspect you have been so for much longer.
