early Top 40 RnR radio in Asheville

What stations in the Asheville area were Top 40 or RnR going back to the 1950's - 80's ?
Years they played RnR if known.
Any notable DJ's from these stations ?

I know WISE 1310 was Top 40 during many of the later years. WSKY 1230 was at least part of that time, and I seem to recall WRAQ 1380 (now WKJV) doing Top 40. WWIT 970 Canton had a good daytime signal that would have been heard in Asheville. I couldn't say what years any of these stations were Top 40.
