East Coast Bias and the Weather Channel

Getting back to the topic... I've lived my entire life east of the Appalachians so I can't really comment on TWC's east coast bias, at least from a first hand Mountain/Pacific Time Zone perspective...

...but about TWC itself, or rather, its cast... is Kristina Abernathy putting on weight? I watched her at the wall during her shift about two weekends ago and thought she was (and she was wearing glasses too). She always was older than she looks IIRC. But she did appear to have a second chin (my mom thinks I have three ;D) :-[ .

P.S. I miss that girl's voice saying "You're watching the Weather Channel - live by it."

So what are those some of those cable networks that have declined in ratings, not just Fox news, CNN, Weather Channel, TV Land, Cartoon network, A&E & others? If one of the networks say, have a decline in their overall ratings, will the (such & such) cable network shut it's operations? There's been some throughout the years like Discovery People, All News Channel, CNN Sports Illustrated, CNNfn, Prime Network & some others that haven't done well in the ratings. What do you think or is it the Republican controlled FCC ruining what we know as quality television. That's why Kevin Martin, Michael Powell & their staunch allies that has to do something with those changes that have been going on with big media in this administration. Coincidence? I think so.
