Even with Thanksgiving in the rearview mirror, radio’s season of giving continues.

Tomorrow, Nov. 29 is “Giving Tuesday,” which will be marked by iHeartMedia talk KFI Los Angeles (640) with its 12th annual “KFI PastaThon” event and live broadcast benefitting Caterina’s Club.

The annual event encourages listeners to donate money, pasta, and sauce to the local charity that provides more than 25,000 nutritious meals every week to children in need in Southern California. The charity also helps families get back into stable home environments and teaches teens the skills they need to work in the hospitality industry.


Evening host Tim Conway Jr. will broadcast live 6-10pm at the Anaheim White House restaurant and will collect funds, pasta, and sauce to help children in the local communities. KFI hosts including Bill Handel, Jennifer Jones Lee, Gary Hoffmann, Shannon Farren, Mo Kelly, Dean Sharp, Neil Saavedra, and Wendy Walsh have been promoting the event on-air last week to drive donations.
