Email addresses to send complaints to about Q105 firings

Mr. Boomer, 2 questions...Do you honestly believe that those firings will be reversed if enough emails are sent? And...
Do you honestly believe any of the managers will care what you or any other listener thinks?

Most likely the cuts came from far higher than station level.

This is for NHRADIO...Scott Herman and Dan Mason are the top of the food chain in New York at what we used to call Black Rock. The other emails are locals, but the two named above are at the very top and they call the shots...so take your 25 years of radio and do some research. I've got 32 so far.

I'm genuinely glad you've been in the business for 32 years, and hope you stay in for as long as you want to. I apologize for not recognizing the names-
but I'll redirect one of my questions to you...
Do you honestly believe enough emails will reverse these decisions?

Let's be real. You, me and everyone else knows that emails will not reverse the decisions. Time will tell. Nothing is written in stone nowadays, but if I were you, "unemployed on-air talent", I would look for a job instead of hoping these emails will bring you back to the station. As far as the rally, that's not going to bring you back to the station neither.

It's like everything in life. At the beginning, everyone is fired up (rally, emails, blogs). Eventually, the fire vanishes and people will get tired and forget.

Look for another job. Your mortgage is due sometime soon.

They did bring back WCBS . I presume it was poor ratings and a constant stream of criticism that got rid of Jack in NYC. The NYC Board was consumed with this for 2 years or so.

You people sure are pessimistic! There are a lot of people out there that have quit listening to Q105 or only listen when Mason is on and then switch stations. A lot of people I have talked to that quit listening aren't aware of the blogs. No, the rally may not get them their jobs back but we can put on a strong show of support and try our damndest to be heard rather than sit back and take it and make snide comments about other people's efforts. Did you ever see the movie FM? I suggest you go find some other blog to make comments on since you don't seem to be supportive of this one.

I am supporting. But, "if" they do get back on the air because of the blogs, ratings falling, etc., it could take a year or so. Meanwhile mortgage payment is due and family needs to eat. So, I strongly suggest focusing on getting a job in the meantime. Only time will tell. Seems like unemployed on-air talent spends too much time on blogs. Job searching is way more important right now.

Get a job? where, who's hiring someone with 'radio' skills. Clear channel pulling out the ax today, cox is the king of automation in this market. where is he/or she gonna find work?? pretty soon the bubba radio network will have more people on payroll than cox, cbs and clear channel combined. Doesn't he employ about 20 people?

Unemployed radio talent said they have worked in radio for 30 years, where's he gonna go looking????????
