EMF is buying 7 stations and 11 CPs from American Family Radio.

No impact. It is a 250 watt transmitter, located about 45 miles from the western extremes of Houston's contiguous suburban sprawl. You can compare it to a similar facility, K201EU in Katy, which puts a fair and listenable signal into my Cy-Fair location about 17 miles away, but is pretty useless beyond 25 miles--and that's with a good receiver. Besides, co-channel KACC in Alvin is in the way of KBEX.

You would have to have just the right tropo conditions to hear it in Houston, or a very tall and sensitive yagi antenna pointing at Brenham.
