Emmis Translator for WFNF 1130 Khz. Brazil, IN is Now on at 99.5 Mhz.

I heard the Emmis translator for Terre Haute, IN today. From what I understand the transmitter is at the same site of WTHI-FM at 918 Ohio Street. The translator is putting out a strong signal and even has an RDS identifier of WFNF. This should take care of the weak AM 1130 Khz. signal at night. Good luck to Emmis on the additional quality coverage.

30 miles south of Indy with the 17 element directional yagi, there's some noise in WZPL to the west but nothing I can identify as the new translator. Looks like it has a very deep null to the west of TH--presumably to keep it inside the WFNF 2mv contour.

As an avid DXer, I'd love to pick up the translator but, in the south end of Indy, the WZPL stick is 8.9 miles from me at a bearing of nearly 59 degrees. I'd need an OTA and the right conditions to hear it.
