Yeah listening to the music with the sweepers made me go back to 2002 and was smiling ear to ear. I also find it irionic that the year Energy went away, dance music started making a comeback into the mainstream... hmmm if Sierra H could've pumped the money into the station just a little while longer or they could have held out for the upgrade! Still lovin your mixin on The Goldmine so in a way dance has returned to 92.7 and that makes me happy ;-)

Good to hear! Thx again, yeah I try to keep it upbeat on the Goldmine with a few Dance classics to keep it familiar. I have always laughed at their timing, and now all the CHR Stations have added all the stuff that Energy played 1st (Daft Punk, Guetta, Calvin Harris, Lady Gaga, and any song sampled by Pitbull!). Thx for noticing the sweepers too, I recreated them from dry sessions (I had for my old mixshows) when I was there. Once again, I run that special every Sunday, so hope you'll check it out again soon! And overall, our normal rotation is half Gold tracks so you should feel at home :)
 
One of the last big tracks that Energy Arizona was banging "back in the day" was Lady Gaga's debut single, "Just Dance". NO ONE else was playing it at all for quite some time.
