Es at work, 6/5/23 to Southwest U.S., CA, 1 new, possibly more

I missed a lot of this Es and did not have a recorder running at home for logistical reasons. I was subbing at an elementary school (yes, I have my teaching degree) and was only able to check the WTFDA "Wlogger" and the car when they went to specialist, and at their recesses. This will be compiled in three parts, based on each break I was able to get (that is, before the bell rang and the kids got lined up to go back in!)

BREAK 1 (10:55-11:10AM)
10:58AM - 88.3 KLYT Albuquerque, NM; promo for Christian show airing weeknights "on KLYT". Last time I logged them, it was still Star 88. Relog, 4.1KW at 1068 miles.
11:00AM - 90.7 KQLV Santa Fe, NM; local TOH ID mentioning KQLV and the 89.5 in Milan. Relog, 19.81KW at 1068 miles.
Tentative KRST-92.3 and KOBQ-93.3 ABQ as well. Also another K-LOVE on 88.7, not sure who that was.
11:01AM - Tentative 89.9 KUNM Albuquerque (NPR news) wiping out translator!
had to go back in

BREAK 2 (12:03-12:25PM)
12:03PM - 92.3 KTAR Glendale, AZ; local news stories. Relog, 100KW at 1015 miles.
12:04PM - 93.3 KDKB Mesa, AZ; RDS 'ALT AZ'. Relog, 100KW at 1015 miles.
12:05PM - 95.5 KYOT Phoenix, AZ, RDS song/artist '95.5 THE MOUNTAIN'. Relog, 100KW at 1015 miles.
12:07PM - MUF 104.7, Eminem song, likely KZZP Mesa
12:08PM - 99.9 KESZ Phoenix, AZ; wiping out KHHK's HD hash with soft rock music, ID '99-9 KEZ'. NEW #728, 100KW at 1015 miles. Relog in Ellensburg 5/15/20 and a few times after that
12:09PM - 93.9 KRTN Raton, NM; commercial for a gift shop in Raton. Relog, 26KW at 1058 miles.
12:11PM - UNID 90.7, Native American station mentioning some gathering in the nearby mountains where it's 'electronic-free, drug, alcohol and smoke free'. Highly likely that it's KOHH San Lucy AZ (// KOHN-91.9), will be posting a clip.
12:13PM - 90.7 XHMOE Mexicali, BCN; Spanish chatter and RDS "LOS 40" popped up over the unid Native American station. Relog, 100KW at 997 miles.
12:15PM - 94.1 KMXB Henderson, NV; Katy Perry song, ID 'Mix 94.1'. Relog, 100KW at 785 miles.
12:17PM - 90.5 KSOS Las Vegas, NV; ID 'SOS Radio.' Relog, 100KW at 785 miles.
12:20PM - 95.1 KTTI Yuma, AZ; RDS 'KTTI'. Relog, 50KW at 1004 miles.
had to go back in

BREAK 3 (1:53-1:57PM)
1:53PM - 89.3 KLFF San Luis Obispo, CA; RDS "MYFLR.ORG", Christian music. Relog, 4.4KW at 777 miles.
1:55PM - 95.3 KLLY Oildale, CA; ID 'Energy 95.3'. Relog, 12.5KW at 774 miles.
1:56PM - 95.1 KOAI Sun City West, AZ; ID '95.1 and 94.9 The Wow Factor'. Relog, 41KW at 953 miles.
had to go back in, again!

Recordings coming later.

Substitute teaching, David. You know, the one where the teacher leaves worksheets for them to do and you try to keep the peace? Kids just got out this week. Last week they were a little wild. But I was in one school for Field Day, which was awesome. Paid just under $200 to get drenched and play with the kids in the afternoon. Yes, I taught in the morning. Applying for dozens of positions this summer. Eastern WA, north Idaho, possibly out to western MT. No takers yet but I have support and reference letters from several teachers for high-quality work.

My mother was a teacher for many years, my sister who just passed was a teacher right out of college, and her oldest son has been a teacher for about 55 years. I'm sure they would all welcome you to the profession!

Best of luck in your search. Enjoy the opportunity to live in a new city or town and meet new folks
