On Tuesday morning, on ESPN Radio's Mike and Mike in the Morning show - Mike Greenberg kept referring to a big "Announcement" about the M&M show on Wednesday morning (7 PM Eastern Time, if my memory serves me correctly). Mike Golic was absent, because he was in Philadelphia for the Reggie White ceremony on Monday night.

Greenberg said that he couldn't divulge any details until Wednesday's show, but that the M&M team weren't breaking up (when he made the initial announcement, people started e-mailing in to him, wondering if the M&M team were breaking up).

Greenberg also joked that it wasn't Kelly Ripa joining the show - although he said that if she was interested, she sure could join (I'm paraphrasing here).

Anyone have ideas on what this "Announcement" might be (before the M&M show airs on Wednesday)?

I read in the USA Today this morning that Mike and Mike are moving from ESPNews to ESPN2 starting on Monday Jan 2nd. That may be the announcement.

Not really. According to the article, ESPNews reaches 45 million homes compared to ESPN2's 89 million.
