ESPN Sportscaster Ron Franklin was relieved of his duties.

This was'nt the first time he had a brush with trouble; Franklin had a conversation with fellow ESPN co-worker Holly Rowe during a game between Notre Dame vs. Purdue-Franklin in his own words was describing the action "Holly, It's NOT giving up, It's 49-21. Sweetheart". Franklin, however was suspended after what really happened. The 68-year old Franklin, who calls Austin home has also worked as Sports Director for Houston TV Stations KHOU & KPRC, As well as doing play-by-play for The Houston Oilers.
