European Radio Updates: Radio FG Belgium, Bash.FM Germany, Dance Radio Prague

The mighty Radio FG crossed the border from France to Belgium, and recently debuted on 107 FM in Antwerp (replacing O Radio). Expect to hear loads of great French House, as well as most of the other big records coming from the House, Electro, and commercial camps.

Speaking of great House music, one of the best net-only stations based out of Germany right now is Bash FM. Seems like the station is always in the mix with big club records. Weekly Resident DJs include Stonebridge, Syke N Sugarstarr, DBN, and Thomas Gold. Very reminiscent of what you'd hear in some of the fashion stores of Miami or Manhattan, so for that WMC feeling year round you might want to check it out.

And another great net only station has now gone terrestrial. That's right! The Czech Republic's Trance leaning Dance Radio has replaced DJ Radio on the FM dial in Prague. A hot playlist along with weekly shows from Paul Van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, David Guetta, Markus Schulz, Above & Beyond, Eddie Halliwell, and John Digweed.

Ya know I enjoyed O radio, so I am sad to see them go.. I like FG too, but they dont need to take over all of europe.. My Fav dance stations still reside in Holland and belgium, and I love the spain stations too, especially lOCA FM

I think Radio FG makes for a good fit in a country like Belgium. I'm surprised they started off in Antwerp - I would've figured they'd have gone with a city in the French speaking part, or the bilingual big city of Brussels. I was hoping RGR FM was going to finally going to get a good signal in Antwerp (they can be heard in much of the city through a couple of signals from nearby towns). Still, I'm happy FG DJ Radio has set up camp as I think the execution and music mix is far better than what O Radio has ever offered, imo.

Lest we forget a couple of years ago Radio FG also started broadcasting in Turkey's mega city of Istanbul

As for Spain's loca FM, I think they're currently the biggest Dance station in the country heard in about 25 different cities, and with good strong signals in both Barcelona, and especially Madrid.

I'm not. Antwerp is by far Belgium's party city. I frequent both cities alot and while Brussels is a fun and active city, Antwerp is really where the party is. Wow!!! That city is hot. Better than Amsterdam I tell you. One of the few cities where there is no closing time for bars. Bars close when the last customers leave!!
