Ever wonder what happened to those magnetic weatherboards over at ch6?

I was watching a YouTube video the other day from Britain's "The Fast Show." One of their recurring segments was "Chanel 9," making fun of European foreign-language television.

"Te metereologicos" were hosted by Poula, who had a magnetic board where she kept putting up bright suns and saying each area was "scorchio." I immediately thought of WPVI and the old weather map.

Still, back in the days of Jim O'Brien, that map was great. It fit his on-air personality (especially when he would refer to high-pressure and low-pressure areas as "good guys" and "bad guys" respectively), and still has fans to this day who miss it.
