Ex-Tucson News Anchor Enters Plea in Shoplifting Charge

Martha Vasquez, formerly of KVOA-TV Tucson, entered a "diversional plea" today on a shoplifting charge from this past February. The charge will be dismissed if she pays a $180 fine and attends counseling by August 15. She resigned from KVOA on February 13.

Deja vu Kim Dillon all over again, and I hope she gets her act together. In any case, her TV career is probably toast.

When I saw the AZCentral header that said "ex-tv anchor pleads in shoplifting case" I thought they were referring to Kim Dillon. Hard to believe that happened in August 2005
