According to North East Radio Watch, longtime radio group owner Susquehanna is selling their stations to Cumulus for $1.2 Billion. Susquehanna had been known for being the owner of WHLO AM 640 during their top 40 and early 1970's News/Talk Days, as well as WHLQ-FM 106.9 (The FM is now owned by Cumulus as WRQK)
Edited by TimL on 11/08/05 03:05 PM.

That was announced last week. Cumulus will run the new company, Cumulus Media LLC, but will only own 25% of the company. With incentives profit sharing could reach 40%. Essentially Cumulus Broadcasting and Cumulus Media will be the same company. Management will be transparent.
______________

Of course I respect your opinion. I politely disagree. I have been a gainfully employed working professional for more than 30 years here in Northeast Ohio. My most rewarding employment experience has come with Cumulus as my employer.

Nothing is perfect. You get out of it what you put into it. There is no place I would rather be right now.

Considering all Susquehanna employees to be unfortunate do to the change is a bit short sighted and uninformed.
