"Family Matters" house in Chicago to be demolished

The house at 1516 W. Wrightwood in Chicago's Lincoln Park area, best known in exterior shots as the home of the Winslow family (and the second home of Steve Urkel) on "Family Matters" (1989-1998) is slated for demolition. In its place will be new condos. The adjoining garage to the house was approved for demolition by the city of Chicago last spring:
