Fantastic word game

Forward progress is used to determine that spot of the ball in a football game even if a ball carrier is knocked backwards and eventually tackled several yards farther back.

The word was YEAR not YEARLY!!

Year of the dragon was a very interesting time!
 
Cyndi Lauper, who had hits with songs like "True Colors" and "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" also contributed the theme song to one of my favorite movies, The Goonies.
 
Board games that have been popular within my lifetime include Monopoly, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, and Candy Land.
