Fantastic word game

Some burly guys from around town, who are compensated by me, (try employin' a Crafty Comma, won't you?) stand at the corner o' Loop 323 and US Highway 69, to keep a keen eye on the luscious ladies o' Rosie's (LLoR, if'n you pre-fer) who also main-tain residence on "The Four Corners".

Tyler's 4 corners is the first major intersection you reach in town, comin' from the north. Known fer its abundant hotel/motel scene, 2:00 am, typically yields more shakin', grindin', n' sa-shayin' out in the parkin' lots, than last call does at the new Illusions.

Hell, the old Illusions fer that matter.

The notion that the Earth is actually flat is archaic n' scientifically disproven, thanks to the fine work o' Pythagoras, the Mathematical Czar o' ancient Greece.

Ancient Greece, despite its numerous contributions to the world, was eventually conquered by the Roman Empire which we can see depicted in numerous movies about gladiators.

Movies about gladiators interest Capt. Clarence Oveur a little bit more than they should.

"Have you ever seen a grown man naked?"

Lordy mercy, I sure 'nuff do love me some o' that there Airplane! movie.

They should have removed the captain from the cockpit after he asked that young lad if he had ever seen a grown man naked.

I gotta hand it to you, RCM. You read my mind perfectly on that clue and knew exactly what I was referring to. Not sure if I should be impressed or worried!

Naked is how I go 'bout orderin' my chicken wings.

The wings, not me.

Much o-bliged, Padre. 🤠👍

Boneless, bite-sized chicken wings are not featured on the new Illusions' limited in-house menu.

I asked. Maybe I'll try over yonder at Miss Silkie's. I hear they speshul-ize in tasty tidbits.

The new Illusions' limited in-house menu was designed by Miss Silkie and the lovely young library interns (since they are the ones making the food) a few years back so perhaps it's time revisit the menu to give it a bit of an upgrade.

Nobody seems to mind the drinking portion of the menu. That seems to be alright.

A bit of an upgrade to the new Illusions' drink menu was established by yers truly, n' it starts off w/a tall glass o' grapefruit juice mixed with agave tequila, a squeeze o' honey, n' a dash o' Chartreuse, givin' you what Rosie's Dance Hall N' Saloon calls 'The Texas Two-Step".

'n if that don't get you headin' out to the dance floor n' scootin' yer boots, then nuthin' will.

The Texas Two-Step will turn into the Texas One-and-a-Half-Step-and-Fall-Down if you've had more than one of those drinks.

NOTE: Previously typed "than than" instead of "than." Now corrected, but demerits still self-assessed.

Those drinks at Rosie's have a previously un-die-vulged recipe, but it sure 'nuff seems like Kayla musta lifted it when she was down here last.

"than than", huh? Dee-merits, Dee-merits, in a self-addressed, stamped on-velope are a bein' con-sidered, I reckon reckon.

When she was down here last year, Miss Silkie brought along some of the interns to learn about those southern east Texas-style goodies.

Those southern east Texas-style goodies are called Pittsburg Hot Links, n' boy howdy, whether yer in Massachusetts, Vermont, New Jersey, Florida, or Illinois (ain't that Scanman's stompin' grounds??), I'd highly recommend quickly placin' your own, personal, Amazon delivery.

Ain't nuthin' like 'em, I'll tell...naw, the Boudoir's gettin' worn out on my tellin'. Jist take my word fer it.

On-demand streaming o' one o' those "creamees", that the dis-tinguished Linguistics Czar speaks of, sounds mighty good right about now.

I'd sure 'nuff watch it. Sounds mighty yum, by gum. 😋
