Fantastic word game

Moist, delicious drumsticks in the South originated with Col. Harland Sanders, made of chicken but inspired by the thighs and calves of his own cute, petite intern, although his sanitized corporate biography will tell you that his inspiration was his wife.

Nudge nudge, wink wink.

His wife was, more than likely, his inspiration behind the slogan "Finger Lickin' Good!"

The intern, guilty o' merely bein' the inspiration behind the spicy line o' chicken fare.

The good Colonel and his wife were, actually, horrible people.

She's guilty fer stickin' with the ol' bird. Good chicken, though.

Some people think the ol' hayseed is an obnoxious hindrance.

I find myself Sharon in that o-pinion.

An obnoxious hindrance (un obstáculo molesto, as speakers of the hindrance's native tongue prefer) to U.S. hemisphere-wide petroleum dominance has apparently been removed in the name of the war on drugs.

Drugs will cause yer brain to get cracked wide-open, tossed in a cast iron fryin' pan coated in a lil' grease, n' fried up like an egg.

Extra special (spay-shul as some obnoxious hindrances may prefer), as a clue, assumes that those hindrances speak Redneck Texan, which is not the native tongue of the South American hindrance I had in mind.

Mind you, that is a big ol' heap bein' asked o' the often exploded cranium bee-hind the PowerWorld, LLC. empire.

I mean, he cain't even spell speshul.

The PowerWorld, LLC. empire is not my creation unless you can prove it in which case I will take full responsibility.

For quality control purposes, I am often the first one to indulge in new tidbits created by our very own lovely young library interns.

They used to bring new stuff right over to my plush and cozy Game Czar corner office. Nowadays, they come right over to my cubicle.

New tidbits created by our very own lovely young library interns are free to the public for the first 24 hours.

My first time-related clue and also my first EMC of 2026. You are most welcome. Have a terrific day.

Beer cans that I had in my collection back in my college days included one from Billy Beer, a short-lived novelty beer launched in 1977, promoted by Billy Carter, the beer-loving younger brother of U.S. President Jimmy Carter.
