Farewell Kix Country 97.7 WKIX After Christmas.

I think having the Hot AC format back may be a good move, and if they are using WEQR, even better. Curtis loves to change formats if the station doesn't make money fast; we may have a all polka format on 97.7.

For what it's worth...I loved the country format too. Good Luck and God Bless to all the folks displaced because of the switch!

Do you know who it might be? According to AllAbout Country.com it states that " most of the staff will remain." If that's the case Don, do you know who made the cut?

I only know he's a different Jeff.

Unless something has changed since I turned in my key, only Kari Delacruz (cluster OM), Averill Williams (WFMC PD), and Wayne Alley (WGBR PD) are left. They, in addition to the new WEQR PD and 3 or 4 part timers, are what's left to run the entire cluster.

They're gonna be busy!

For better or worse, warts and all, that monster is all my creation. There ain't no corporate office in Raleigh gonna shut 'er down.
