Farewell Tom Suiter WRAL Sportsreporter Retires Dec 18...

As you may or not heard the news most of of us in this board grew up watching Tom Suiter on WRAL for many years is going to retire this week he join WRAL Jun 2 1971 :'(. Hes last broadcast will be Dec 18 2008. Thanks Tom Suiter you may me fell like being a sportsreporter myself :'(
 
so...this year it's not swapping of frequencies or format changes, but people leaving the biz.... even more sad :(
that's two people out of CBC in the same month.

Even though Tom Suiter is stepping down as the 6pm sports anchor, he is not
completely "retiring"...
He will continue to do "Football Friday" during the High School Season, work on
special projects for "wral.com" and will make appearances on "99.9 The Fan",
but after 37 years he will have more free time on his hands, which should make
him and his family happy.
