Favorite/Least Favorite TV Sports Theme Music

--Same with the John Tesh-penned NBC NBA theme (1991-2002)--which coincided with most of the Chicago Bulls' heyday and some arguing that NBC stood for "Nothing but Chicago" when it carried the NBA (until the dynasty was mercilessly dismantled after the 1998 championship...).

After which NBC stood for "Now da Bulls Collapse".

But they have risen again. This June, will ABC stand for "All Bow to Chicago", twenty years after the start of the run of His Airness and Co.?

I thought after the Bulls' dismantling NBC's NBA coverage went back to the NBA's "NBL" era (a play on one of the NBA's predecessors, the National Basketball League). This time it was "Nothing But Lakers." (although the Spurs won the '99 Finals in the lockout-shortened season following the end of the Bulls' run).

I would say my favorite is the "Wide World" theme from ca. 1989. That and Jim McKay's voice over made it sound really good.

I really like the opening to SEC on CBS. The video montage of all the legends and logos and stuff is cool too leading up to the "heart beat" of the CBS logo. Love seeing the Bear every week.

I do not know the name of the theme and I wish I did. It was a lovely theme. It ran on ABC in the late 60s-70's during college football games. I want to say it might be tied to the Rose Bowl games but I can't be sure. I have heard the UCLA & USC themes and it is nothing like them. Occasionally a college band would play it at halftime. I know this is very, very vague but anyone have any idea?

The only TV sports theme I remember school bands playing around that time (the pep band at my high school played it at basketball games) was the NBC NFL theme from the mid 70s.
