As it turns out, many of the songs I've mentioned happen to be huge either on Billboard's Hot 100, the CHR/Top 40 airplay chart, the Modern Rock chart, the Hip Hop chart, or in other countries.

Block Party? Top 10 hit in the UK
Paramore's "Misery Business"? Currently a hit at both CHR and Modern Rock radio
Kanye West's "Cant Tell ME Nothin"? Hot on Urban and Rhythmic stations
Mattafix? Top 5 in Italy
Alicia Keys? Currently number one on the Pop charts on the Hot 100
Rihanna "Dont Stop The Music"? Number one on the pop charts in a number of European countries, and pretty much number one in airplay there as well. It's also garnering airplay stateside
DJ Khaled "I'm So Hood"? Hot on the Hot 100, and on Rhythmic radio
Plumb "In My Arms"? Getting airplay on a number of Dance stations
Leona Lewis? Been number one in the UK for a few weeks now
Enur "Calabria"? Getting airplay on major CHRs like Z-100 and Y-100 as well as Rhythmic radio
Ja Rule's "Body"? Getting some airplay on CHR and Hip Hop stations in Europe
Sugababes "About You Now"? Still a big hit in the UK
Colbie Caillat? Hot on the CHR/Pop charts here
Serj Tankian? Biggest record right now on L.A.'s super-influential modern Rock 106.7 K-Rock...and big in general on Modern Rock radio
Glasses Malone? Getting some airplay on Hip Hop stations right now
Good Charlotte "I Don't Wanna Be In Love"? Currently one of the biggest Rock anthems on CHR radio
Wyclef Jean? Doing really well on a growing number of CHRs

Adam Tensta? Hot Electro/Hip Hop record from Sweden where it's Top 20
P. Diddy "Through The Pain"? Receiving airplay in Europe on a number of influential Hip Hop and CHRs
James Blunt "1973"? Huge CHR and Hot AC record in Europe
Rick Ross "Speedin"? Getting some love here on Hip Hop stations
50 Cent "Still Will"? Same deal as Rick Ross
Three Days Grace? Pretty big record on CHRs that are Rock friendly
