On May 30, 2007 the FCC granted a CP for 91.9 licensed to Zionsville and held
by Kids First Inc., of Indianapolis. W I T T are the new calls. The board of
KFI is all local individuals. The group hopes to have the station on the air within
15 to 18 months. Programming will include some music and stories for children,
local artists, hourly news bulletins from both Radio Nederlands and Pacifica.
Community awareness modules will run throughout the day promoting local issues
and upcoming events in the Zionsville, Lebanon, Brownsburg, Indy area. These
modules will be aired under the title "HOME" and run for three minutes per hour.
Throughout the day and overnight the mix of music will be very wide indeed.
Evening hours will most likely feature block programming. All of which will be produced
and presented by many able volunteers.
Local news will be aired on the half hour. WITT is a non-commercial radio station.
