As much as I'm for LPFM or AM. I would not sign this stupid thing. What I don't understand is what does LPFM has to do with Africa and racism. And knowing what the Indigo girls are about, what does this have to do with signing this petition to have LPFM passed. I pirated before and still have the equipment to do it. But I rather not support this for the reasons that the web site tries to link and promulgate their agenda for. These are nothing but self suicidal groups.
The reason they want LPFM is to spew their self hatred on the majority, even though the majority doesn't listen anyway. Look at Air Americas ratings. And the radical left programming always has been a failure. Why do you think that commercial radio doesn't have these groups with these shows. Because in the past, it's been a ratings failure. Nobody listens. Now they just want to continue to support Africa on our own money tying it with this bill while their own Government screws their citizens over. Just an example what's this is all about. Nothing about our troops Huh? Nothing even about our high gas prices? Nothing that effects us. It's always the disenfranchise, the homeless that doesn't want to work, and groups that would mug you in a heartbeat if it where legal. And all the woman that look like Rosie O'Donnell and the Indigo girls.
And the only audience that will support it let alone really listen to these LPFM's is the freaks at Starbucks or Tower records,(That's if they have any customers left.) Or the coffee shop men in their 50's with bald heads and a pony tail in the back. You get the picture.
LPFM is should be presented for the extra enjoyment of having fun. Covering communties on more important issues as far as local environment. Community crime, schools, municipal, music and anything that directs the local resident. Not worldwide issues that have know effect on you personally presented by a bunch of freaks who are only concern with one thing. And that's their thing. They'll eventually risk their licenses if they were to be passed and issued, just by too many profane tongue language announcers
I'd rather do it illegally before I sign this petition.

You can file your own comments with the FCC. You do not have to sign somebody else's petition, unless you want to.

It would be helpful if as many people as possible did petition the FCC on behalf of LPFM. Obtaining Primary Status for licensed LPFM stations is the key issue in this debate. Otherwise, they face the very real possibility of being displaced by encroachment from full power stations moving in to their area, or by new translators.

Right now, LPFM's are considered a secondary service, which makes them displacable, under the current rules.

Amy Ray and Emily Saliers of the Indigo Girls are feminists and Lesbians, of course. I seriously doubt from the uplifting nature of their music and the effectiveness of their activism that they're self-hating or "self-suicidal".

Because not all of them "look like Rosie O'Donnell" and some might slip through accidently, I'm willing to share my extensive database of similar artists, so you can avoid playing them on your pirate station.

I'm very understanding of what your saying....but if it only pertains to these needle users that are trying to pass this bill for them only to be licensed and take up and grab every open frequency in every metro market which does not sound far fetched......I'd rather listen to the Continued Infinity and Clear Channelization of the air waves. Or all the church religious fanatics. Anything that sounds like Rosanne Barr, and looks like Al Franken or eithier way, even with 10 watts of power, I'd rather have a nuclear explosion. The only problem with a nuclear explosion is that we'll all look like them. Oh! by the way... pass out those syringes.
